Hey, I am very concerned with my 5 year old son not learning his letters.  We will go over and over them and he seems to get it but when he is asked by his teacher what the letter is he comes out with something different.  I am sooooo frustrated!  I know my son is smart.  He can write the letters and his name without looking.  I feel alot of pressure from his teacher.  She told him and me that he wouldn't go to first grade if he didn't know his letters.  She said he needed to know all the letters and their sounds by Christmas!  What should I do?  I am stressing out and I know Greyson is too!  I didn't know there would be this kind of pressure in Kindergarten.
